A Little Update

Some sketches of my search of definitive character designs. I'm nearly there for the main characters.

My Latest Exercise

Last semester we had some little assignments, no real animation work that's worth showing anyway. Not to say few work at all... For that reason I thoroughly expanded an assignment to create a little independent movie. It ain't much, so don't expect something like last year, I didn't had the time for something like that.

Now onto something more interesting, my new 'movie'(seriously, what should I call it?).
So what's the story you're wondering? Obviously it's simple because it has to fit in 20 seconds. It tells the little tale of a man who enters and walks through a (sideshow) carnivale, and in one last tent finds some depressing surprise... a captured mermaid.

Her movements in the water will symbolise the dancing part of the assignment. Ofcourse there will be some more animation depicting this encounter between these 2 characters.

Down here you can already find some sketches, offcourse these aren't final yet and I'm now in the process of creating an animatic and creating final designs of the characters.

The New Film

Some have already heard it, others hear it now.
I started working on a new movie.
Like last year I'll be making a (very) short movie. Again we have to create a move limited to 20 seconds. It has to and will be containing a walking character.
The theme this year is dance(last year it was directing) so it will also contain some sort of a dance.

I created this blog so people can follow my progress on this and later work. Soon I'll post an update with images and the story. Until then you can still view my movie from last year here.
